The EP has been in the works for a while and is available to buy now from Needlework records’ Bleep.com page as a digital release pack. The CD release will be handled by Real Tablist and should be out in all good shops and online stores in the new year. The tracklisting is as follows:

Regular listeners of the show will be familiar with some of tracks, as we’ve already previewed ‘Perpetual Patterns’ and ‘Senses Overloaded’ – and for those who missed out you best get your downloading on. Support has also been coming from radio shows in Germany, France, US and the UK. You can also expect to see reviews popping up online in various blogs and some print magazines. You can listen to previews of the tracks on the bleep.com page as well as on the myspace.com page.
If you’re in search of some good, honest and refreshing music than you could do worst than to get your hands on this baby. Especially if you’re new to the work of these two producers and tablists.
Senses Overloaded – Live Beat Creation tour
To support the release of the EP, the guys will embark on a tour in the new year. Dates are unconfirmed at the moment though residents of Belgium and Holland can expect live shows in their areas from March onwards and the guys will also hit up festivals in the spring. Check realtablist.com for more up to date info in the new year.
The live tour takes the EP on the road – but more than that, it takes the music the guys create in the studio as the basis for a live show that encompasses new ideas and offers a different and entertaining audio-visual experience. As Lamont explains:
“The goal is to create great music with equipment like turntables, laptops, midi controllers, drum machines, percussion and synthesizers. All of Lamont’s and 2tall’s composed music is re-created live on stage using hardware and software loopers and effects units.
Teknar Visuals join the line-up as well to provides visual support during the musical performance. Seven cameras are placed on stage to film Lamont and 2tall in action. Teknar Visuals mixes the filmed performance in REAL TIME and adds other images on screen. The main purpose of the visual support is to show the audience what 2tall and Lamont are doing on stage …in full detail.”
Finally while you’re grabbing the Senses Overloaded EP over on bleep.com be sure to check ‘The Death of Memory’ by 2tall, “3 songs from the period just after Shifting Tides was written. Jim was working with new equipment, and bringing in new ideas from recent inspirations and unearthed sounds. These songs were previously only available as a bonus CD with the Shifting Tides release, but are now available for sale through bleep.com.”
And as taster of the live show here’s 3 youtube videos that will give you an idea of what you can expect when these guys hit a town near you:
