Xmas giveaway extravaganza – records, cds, tapes, equipment…

That’s right people – xmas is a month away and we’ve got an impressive selection of giveaways to share in the spirit. We’ve got 6 competitions for you – all open at once. Think of it as the Turntable Radio and Spin Science xmas giveaway extravaganza.

Prizes come from Eclectic Breaks, Stanton, The Inside & Norm Rex, NozL, Needlework Records and the Turntable Radio & Spin Science goodies box. As some of you may already know I will be relocating to Japan in the new year, and so the goodies box needs to be emptied before I move (space is somewhat limited in my suitcase) and I’ve found quite a few things that should make some listeners happy. More on the move later (don’t worry the show and sites aren’t going anywhere) and in the meantime read on for full detail of all the competitions.

NB: you can enter all the competitions once – and only once. So that’s one entry per person, for every competition we’re running. One competition is UK only, all others are open to worldwide entries – non UK entries can therefore enter up to 5 competitions.

Competition 1 – Eclectic Breaks & Stanton giveaway

This second competition is made possible by the lovely people at The Inside & Norm Rex labels – who this year have brought you three of the finest break records of recent years. And you can now win double copies of the labels’ latest two releases – Machinedrum’s ‘Cached’ and Tigerstyle’s ‘Zero’. The next competition sees us dig into the goodies bag and offer you a package of releases from Japan based DJ Klock and his label, Clockwise recordings.

On offer are tapes, cds and vinyl – most of which are hard to get a hold of outside of Japan.

Competition 5 – Needlework Records giveaway

This next competition comes courtesy of Needlework records, home to 2tall, Waxfactor and DDay One and headed by none other than Turntable Radio’s founder, Mr Trick.

2006 has been a busy year for the label, with the release of both the DDay One and Waxfactor LPs as well as two excellent mix CDs under the Rhythm Incursions banner. To celebrate this we’ve got a prize pack containing a copy of each of this year’s releases as well as some bonus CDs. Note that the CDs in this prize pack are all promo copies, and not the actual for sale releases. They come with artwork (apart from DDay One’s LP) in plastic sleeves.

So one winner will receive the following prize pack:
