Nearly a year after their first offering, The Groove of Satyre are returning with Dialogue and Random vol2 – the second in their series of scratch and production tools. The French crew have been busy this last year, releasing their first DVD, L’Homme Aux 1000 Visages, having Enfoe join their collective for the Phonomorphia project and getting busy in the studio readying the new volume of their excellent DAR series.
Once more you can expect 2 sides packed with quality instrument sounds and samples for use in the studio, on the decks, live and more. The sounds are all 100% original, created in their Infernale Machine Record Center studio which is packed wall to wall with amazing gear. A huge number of which was used on this record to give you new sounds to use and abuse.
For a full run down of what’s been used on the record and some preview samples hit up the revamped news section of their website, here where you can also view and download a short documentary relating the making of the record.

You can also purchase DAR2 in vinyl and download format from the TGOS shop and for those of you in the UK, 2tall has just got his hands on a batch this morning which are up for grabs on his recently revamped website at the lovely price of £10.99 + p&p. Distribution for the US, Europe and Japan is also incoming and the record should be available in those areas anytime now.

You can expect a full review from 2tall, alongside some music created with the record, to appear on spinscience.org.uk in the coming weeks. Phonomorphia (composed of TGOS members Cavern, Horrible, Morse and Enfoe) will also be appearing with an exclusive track on the Cuts of Culture 2 compilation and the TGOS crew will also be on the DVD. Later on this year you can also expect an exclusive online album, Truth about Pan’s Sounds, to be made available for free download from the TGOS camp – this album will regroup tracks from producers, DJs and tablists worldwide all made entirely using DAR2. The line up will include the likes of Mike Boo, 2tall, D-Styles, Lorn, Lamont, B-Ju, Phonomorphia, Pedestrian and more. So be sure to keep an eye on the TGOS website which is now regularly updated with news, forums and more.

Lastly, you can check an extract from the crew’s recent DVD on youtube. See the embed below – this is one of the songs from the DVD, which is heavily recommended. Some truly different shit.
